Based in Northern Illinois, Great Lakes Ministries (GLM)* exists to provide opportunities for young people through programs and activities to encourage the advancement of the gospel, spiritual growth, biblical direction, and competition in a safe environment.

Great Lakes Ministries (GLM) exists to help your Awana program.
Early in the 21st century Awana Clubs International (ACI) shifted its focus to the individual local churches rather than large inter-church events. Some local churches still want the opportunity for their Awana clubbers to interact with clubbers from other churches in their region. GLM facilitates that in the Chicagoland and northern Illinois region.
So outreach events, such as AwanaGames, Bible Quiz, YouthQuest and Great Lakes Bible Camp that are run by GLM are not officially sanctioned by Awana Clubs International (ACI). ACI, its employees and Awana Missionaries do not plan or organize these events and assumes no liability or responsibility for the staff, venue, or activities related to the preparation or conduct of an event.
